Mostly what I like about Spotify is what you said fiend, checking out new music. And in my case, older music of bands I already love like Immolation. Had 2 of their latest albums and listening through their whole discography the past few days and it's excellent

Also don't care if it's 320 kb/s or .mp3 or .flac or 999 kb/s, can't hear a difference on my speakers anyway

Yeah, I mean Spotify free is fine. it's typically 160k ogg vorbis, which IMO is 90% as good as FLACs, but YouTube is just dogshit. I hate playing music on YouTube. You can validate by playing the same song on YouTube and using a 128k mp3 cdrip off your computer.
