What do you all think of death-grind?

Bands like Skinless, Withered Earth and Cephalic Carnage for example. Yes, I think they're tacky and predictable of all death metal but just fun and brutal at least. I do not take death-grind seriously other than Dying Fetus.

I'd say death-grind probably originated from bands trying to sound like Cannibal Corpse and Suffocation.

cephalic carnage is brilliant. also bands like impaled, exhumed, skinless, napalm death, aborted, defleshed... some of those are borderline. but all great bands

I've only heard Fast Forward from Defleshed, but that's not even Death. It's Thrash.

Cephalic Carnage is great... And I would'nt even call them just deathgrind anymore (they incorporate a lot of different elements on "Anomalies" so check that album out before you write them off as noise.)

I think death grind is hit and miss, I like Cephalic Carnage alot, but most of their not full out grind stuff, i like it a little more sane. I dig cryptopsy alot because its just so fucked up, but other than that...i really dont like it much.... seems all the same....

That's it... I'm gonna write a bunch of random power chord riffs and dodecatonic scale leads and play them so fast no one can tell that they suck. Then assign each riff a number and then roll dice to see how they are organized in the, "song."
