What do you think about Italy?

Hey Maurizio, I'll be in Milano from 25th to 31th May for my job.
What should I see or visit ??

We already went for a 2days visit, tried to find a "cool" bar with beers, music and people (ok, I mean girls). All we found is fucking lounge bars and back-street old men cafés. We choose the café and drank grappa ;)

Do you have any good adress to spend a good time ? I'll be with a non metal collegue, so regular bars are ok.

They usually in summertime play blues and jazz.
Ha The beers, just belgian and trappist there! that's my favourite place to taste a fine beer.

Ok now because XES said Milano sucks I post these cultural/see sites/ whatever you want to call it. I don't think this city sucks so much, of course it's not rome but we got few good things.

- First visit the castle, I think is one of the best and biggest castle inside a city, it's located in the centre of town (Cairoli underground station, line1 - color red).

Here's a pic

Then you should visit the museums:

- Villa Belgioioso (or called: Villa reale), located near the undergroud station of Palestro (Line 1 - color red)

Believe me guys if you see Rome you'll be in a jawdropping situation lol evrything it's bigger, it's maximized.
I never been to rome, I went there 2 years ago! goddamn seems it's not real, you can see a lot of roman buildings arising from the underground!
Rome is the best city in the world.
Of course Milano is famous just because: fashion, financial stuff and factories (outside the city of course), it's not well known for its cultural sites
Anyway whenever you'll come to visit this city I can help you with infos!
Of course PM if you want to meet up lol

I happen to think Italian women look the best. Even the 'average' ones are frikkin' hot!

I don't say Milan or Rome sucks for the things you showed....We all know Italy is the best country in the world for this kind of things....but you also know how the politicians in Italy ruin the monuments, the ancient buildings, etc...only to build a parking, a new building...or how they destroy the bigger park of Milan for the new province seat.....c'mon, our cultural property could be managed a lot better. But here is better a new building, a new road, etc....

I haven't experienced what you call bad about Italy. When I was younger I was snowboarding there every spring break, and it was awesome. The food is, according to me, the best in the world(I can't stop eat to much pasta). can't say to much about the rest of italy, I've been in rome, venice and pisa but don't have to much memory from that time more than that it was beutiful to look at.

And to those who want to move to sweden, you're very welcome here!

No you won't be the fattest motherfucker in the world, because at least we got some fine food that can't get you that fat as the shit the americans eat lol
I don't know if it's just the food, but in usa there's the highest percentage of human beings with cancers, I think food is one of the main reasons, maybe I'm wrong maybe I'm not.
Of course over here youcan find shitty food as well, homemade stuff is the way to go!

Oh dude, we're the first to admit that we have a massive obesity rate - that being said, we're starting to realize it, so places like McDonald's are actually offering healthy choices on their menus that I always get. Any time I'm there, I always get a grilled chicken sandwich on a honey wheat bun, wiping off all the mayo and such. Cuz I'm not fat, and I don't want to be. :)

well great to hear that! over here mcdoanld can offer you just the usual shitty stuff.
I don't hate mcdonald's but I can say that their food is strange, I mean their meat doesn't tast like real "cow meat", maybe it's a dog lol

You know, the last time I was in Rome basically everyone in my company went to this rather huge McDonald's near the Spanish Steps. But me and a buddy decided to get soemthing more adequate to eat so I ordered some Lasagna in a nice little restaurant that was a bit off...

... I spent the rest of that night on the toilet.
