yeah VLC and Winamp .. vlc has a slow down option too.. actually there is one song by dan dankmeyer that i love to listen to slowed down ..haha

I use iTunes but thanks to this thread I'm gonna try Media Monkey. I wonder if MM will read my library though because I encoded all my CDs into the Apple lossless format.

I'm almost positive that Mediamonkey can play Apple lossless format, it may however not be able to convert to Apple lossless or from Apple lossless to other formats. This may have changed, but I remember a topic on their support forums last year I think.

iTunes & Spotify. I don't do lossless yet, my setup is laptop based (limited HDD space) so I'd rather live with the hassle of listening to the cd's if I want high quality audio. Besides, that always makes me recheck the artwork, lyrics etc. too, which is nice!

But to be honest, I'm still just listening to mp3's mostly. I do the importing with the iTunes LAME though with some extreme settings.
