Ive heard some weird ones. Phlem, Goatlord, Satan's Penis.
Blood Cum is a pretty good one tho. 2 younger brothers of Slayer formed that band a long time ago.

Death, Iced Earth, Metallica, Meathead...er..there're quite a few more. Just can't think right now.
Death, Iced Earth, Metallica..all of those are great names in my opinion..Metallica is just great, because it definitely describes the music in a simple way..''Death'' is also simple and describes the genre..Iced Earth is cool also..but my all time favourite band name is ''Metal Church''..
and yes, Meathead is quite bad..

p.s. about Death . It's more than just a simple explanation for a genre of music. So much more than just that. Think alittle. I mean they weren't that traditional to the genre by a long shot after leprosy, they became a hell of alot more lyrically and musically. Death itself as a name is realistic. It's something we are all certain of and is something pure and natural.

Heres one for you: SNAILBOOSTER! despite the stupid name this band had a pretty cool sound in the Vein of Early Helloween!
