I had to say Odyssey only because I can't get into DWoT as much. I like most of it but some of MJR's lead tone kind of gets on my nerves. Personal opinion though. And yes, Russel's voice is awesome on DWoT but I can never get tired of The Odyssey.

Trilogy of the Damned?? Wtf? How great is it, is it their own song or some cover version? Damnit I have to hear it asap. Japanese are so lucky when Japanese releases always have some bonus tracks.

"Trilogy Of The Damned" is a Japanese bonus track from "In Search Of Truth". It features 3 Evergrey ballads from the first 2 albums, "As Light Is Our Darkness", "Words Mean Nothing" and "The Shocking Truth". It ends up being about 9 minutes long... and it's amazing. The 3 ballads are stripped down to nothing but piano and Tom's voice... and the ballads seamlessly segue into each other... Tom sings with such emotion...

Sounds pretty interesting, but honestly I must be a bit sceptical... 9 minutes nothing but piano and Tom's voice. The ballads aren't the best area for Evergrey (though I like pretty much The Shocking Truth, but it's not originally a ballad), especially because Tom's voice fits much better to strong metal tracks like... hmm, too many to mention.

Don't be sceptical. It's quite amazing to hear everything stripped down to the essence of Tom's emotional voice. It's really quite amazing to hear this.
