What is your favourite band of all time?

Megadeth, and Sanctuary/Nevermore
Damn shame that the speed metal gods are no more, there is a good rumor that ellefson is joining metallica, maybe metallica would actually turn out something good and fast for the first time in over 15 years

nah, they would turn out like Megadeth.. a sorry old washed up metal band that tried to make a few quid by a four-chord riff and bad lyrics...

NP: RUST... IN.... PEACE...!!

Iron Maiden since 1991....
Some other favorites are:
Amorphis (older), Dark Tranguillity(older), Dimmu Borgir, CoF(older), Emperor, Dissection, May Result, Opeth, Opera IX, Nile, Nevermore, Dark Funeral, Satyricon, Agathodaimon, Ancient Ceremony, Thetatre of Tragedy(older), Pink Floyd, Black Sabbath... There are more but I can't remember all of them now. I don't listen to Maiden that often anymore, but they have the most sentimental value, so I put them on top. Musically, I prefer more extreme stuff.

There can be only one:

If you don´t reckon this band, you can go fuck yourself!!!! :Smokedev:

I don´t love this band, I worship it. Yesterday I got my 65:th record by them. And this tuesday I got a poster with autographs from 3 of the members in the band. I´m keeping that poster in a safe. ::)

RUSH-Been listening since 1980, seen them every tour since 1982, they inspired me to play guitar and bass, they created my love for progressive music. Every one of their releases may not be a masterpiece (most are), but they all hold a special place in my heart. Can't wait for the new cd, can't wait for the next tour, but most of all, can't wait to bring my 9-year old son to his first Rush concert!

i'm sure if i tried i could narrow it down to about 50 or so groups/artists. i just find it too hard to say i love certain groups better than others i also love.......too much criteria to consider.......i like music, yes i do, i like music, how 'bout you?
