i also got midland, looked like the bar on 'the west' was about equal to the midland one. no accent, but sometimes i speak rather quickly and without enunciating each syllable and ending consonant because i dont really care and most people out here talk like that anyway. sometimes i clean it up depending on who im talking to or if im using big words and trying to sound like a smarty pants.

I should try to speak eloquently and with the big words more often... I've been cussing too much and dumbing myself down because of the lack of smart people around. All of my co-workers are average minded.

I don't think there's a universal "fat" accent.
