YES. I do think "Martyre" by Saturnus is marginally better however, both amazing though. I take it you know that all the members of The Loveless were in Saturnus when "Martyre" was released.

Yes, absolutely The Old Dead Tree!!! they are absolutely great.

and what about Daylight Dies, they are also influenced by Katatonia.

I discovered the band The Provenance recently. They are awesome. They sounded a bit like Opeth and MDB, only there is a female vocals in it (and ofcourse grunt).
