I do like the LP though, like NOLA best i do.
You should try ALABAMA THUNDERPUSSY if you like Down. Very good stuff in the vien of teh heavy south sounds. (they arent from Alabama either,.....north or south carolina is the palce they come from)

I likethe way Phil wanted everyone to think the down album was recorded in a barn. Just for teh southern aspects of it all(to make him look cooler). When in reality, it was a barn shaped building, totlally remodled, and no dirt floor. The sound rooms are professional and all that stuff. A barn hahahahha. He is such an embarrasment to himself and his parents.

CHROMO>>yes, you should like the sounds then. I know of one other Jersey or New York based band with the heavy southern sound. They are in an interview in one of my BWBK mags. Later ill flopp threw the mags and grab the name of the band for ya. Never heard the band in mention myself, but the reviews were good. I figure they must be worth a look and a listen.
