What's your favorite Novembers Doom coverart?

I love the artwork for Paul Haunt. It is definately one of my favorite CD covers. However, the new one really blew me away. It is creepy as Hell. I cannot wait to see the rest of the booklet!

My favorite coverart is actually Pale Haunt as well. Does anyone think of black metal when you see Amids original cover art?

The first albums first cover is my favourite cuz I love the whole nature theme. After that itd be Pale Haunt Departure

Funny thing is, I think the original Amid art pre-dates most BM releases that contained this sort of artwork. Alot of BM releases back then had more stark, "Blaze in the Northern Sky" styled covers back then. To me when I see it, it reminds me more of something you'd expect to see on an underground doom type band's cd or demo cover...hence.....

I never heard of "Reflecting in Grey Dusk" how does it sound? I had no idea of this album..could someone please tell me a little about it..thanks in advance..

Reflecting in Grey Dusk was a sampler cd they handed out during a tour a couple years back. Not sure what songs are included since I don't own it.

The working title for the CD was "Ascension." As we got closer to recording the CD, it was changed to "The Pale Haunt Departure."
