When the F is Those Whose Past is Immortal coming out on CD?!

Well yeah CD>Cassette. Fucking January...fuck that. Do you guys include these types of circumstances (tapes before cd release) in your year end lists or wait until the cd is released and include it on THAT year end list?

an album is an album, regardless of format. That said, if you take that into account, I think Autumn Aurora and Battlefields are 2003 releases.

EDIT

well, maybe not autumn aurora because it says that it was recorded Winter 2003, and it was released through Supernal Jan. '04

Point taken. Also, I think I agree and shall refrain from including them from my year end list for that sole reason.

I forget what the song is called, but there's this one that starts off with these horses galloping and an accoustic riff. Whatever that song is, it RULES.

I must be the only one that hasn't heard more than 10 minutes of Astrofaes. I suck, but to redeem my status, I finally got "Angels of Distress" and "Lead and Aether" today.

^ , but still, Angels of Distress fucking rules hard. Like, seriously hard.

I don't want to be a n00b, but please name some god doom bands for me to check out... I'm only recently expanding beyond Black and the offshoots of Black metal... so far I'm very into Worship, Skepticism, and Shape of Despair.

Ya, I can do the same if you want as well man. I have an overabundance of excellent doom of all sorts if you want another's opinion. I would rather make a couple comp. cd-r's for you and have fun with it then type out a longass post. PM if you want.

It's finished, I just listened to it myself... Great comp if I do say so myself, 81 minutes of darkness... Now don't go download anything and spoil the surprise :p

Doomcifer: you could make him a trad/epic doom compilation as I've dealt with most of the death stuff now :p
I think I'm gonna make one of each. lol I think I know at least 2 of the songs you burned for him. :worship:

Alright, just finished. They'll be going out tomorrow afternoon from Rhode Island. One extreme doom comp, and two traditional doom comps (too many fucking trad doom bands/songs)...all 80 minutes packed. WOOT! :headbang:
