I rarely have alcohol at home. More when I'm out seeing live music, where 3 ales is the ideal amount to enhance the experience for someone as small as me. Given I see a lot of live music, it's amounted to about US$1300 so far this year. It's an expensive way to drink now, but supports the venues and helps keep the shows happening I suppose. It'd be cheaper if I stocked the same amount of beers at home, drank beforehand and just donated the venue their lost profits. But then I'd peak early...
