Stumbled upon "Mornignrise" in the summer of '97 after reading a great review of it in the "Metal Maniacs" magazine. Loved it & purchased "Orchid" about a week later!

Then, I purchased each successive CD the day it was released!!!

Blackwater Park about 1 and 1/2 years ago

Then Orchid just about the next day from Tower Records of all places. It would have been every other album they had by Opeth, but that's all they had.

Then the next day after I got Orchid, I ordered Morningrise, My Arms, and Still Life all at the same time from Cdnow.com

Next Opeth purchase after that I can remember was Orchid on Vinyl.

Then I got Deliverance the day it came out.

Then I bought Morningrise, and My Arms on vinyl, along with Blackwater park Deluxe edition.

And lastly, 3 copies of the new 7" Vinyl =)

Deliverance a few weeks after it was released.

bought, blindly based solely on the odd fascination everyone had on the band, MAYH, Orchid, and Morningrise all at once in 99. Then each other one in order after it. oddly... it took me like a month or 2 to like them. I didn't see the huge fanaticism for them at first... then it clicked one night listening to Morningrise in bed at night with headphones... whoa what a difference!

oh wait... not true. I had Still Life on MP3 forever and only got the album like a month ago hehe... that one took me forever to get
