The one that stays in my cd player for weeks at a time is Opeth...so I guess Opeth.

I mean absolutely no disrespect to Death(R.I.P. Chuck) since they are my second favorite extreme metal band of all time, and the first ever death metal band I heard way back in 1990, but I have to say Opeth. No one, and I mean NO ONE can top them in my opinion! I just downloaded the new album(which I will buy as soon as it come out November 12th, I just could not wait!) and it is FANTASTIC...Masters Apprentices is fucking amazing! Both bands should be respected because they both are simply the best this genre has to offer...
