Why no V The New Mythology?

Be nice if they played something awesome though, like another semi long track like Church of the Machine or Walls of Babylon.

Or Absinthe & Rue. :headbang:

According to Russell, the chances of hearing anything from the first two albums are slim to none. He and Lepond said it would be cool to pull out some older tracks, but that the first two albums didn't sell nearly as well as the others, and that for every ten people that want to hear Edge of Forever, there's 100 people who want to hear Paradise Lost.

I think if they played Dressed to Kill or the title track from the second album, those sales would sky rocket :headbang:

They might improve, but I doubt they would skyrocket. While I wouldn't call any Symphony X "commercial," those first two albums simply aren't as accessible as the other, more recent five (particularly the last two).

Speaking of commercial, how about Frontiers? It may be a little poppy, but I think I speak for the majority when I say that we love that song. Unfortunately, Lepond said we would never hear it live, simply because it's a Japanese b-side and most people at a typical show would have no idea what song it is.

Even if it is a Japanese B-Side, that would just make it that much more awesome to hear live. Kamelot's been known to play their B-Sides live at least once for every show, and not all of their fans are dedicated to the point of spending $50 just for an extra 2 minute track. (Then again, the majority of Kamelot's fanbase is all fanbois and fangirls who have no lives other than worshiping Kamelot, so that kinda balances it out.) But yeah, it would be an awesome surprise for the band to play.

Also, isn't Frontiers available for download on the Sym X website? If that's teh case, then there are bound to be enough people who know the song that it could get a reasonable response from the crowd.
