There are 2 moderators here. Opeth.com (this is actually Mrs. Å and she's pretty busy running a household, working, raising a child, etc..) and yours truly. The thread had about 2 serious posts, lots of spam, lots of "Please delete this useless thread" and what else...... hmmmmmm.... oh, yeah. Goatse. Hence... deleted.

Hopefully this clears up any mysteries.

In the future, please direct your forum specific inquires such as "why did ___ thread get deleted" or "Lo and Behold.." or " LETS LOCK EVERY THREAD WHERE PEOPLE SAY THEY DON'T LIKE OPETH" type stuff to me via PM, ok?

My partner in Moderation, proving that he is in fact a mere mortal, finally succumbed to the lack of intelligence, reasoning, and logic...the feeble grasping of the humorless to "make a funny", the relentless bludgeoning of Spam, and unfortunately.... the blatant attempts to sabotage the flow and order of the forum. In other words: the Internet equivalent of someone throwing a piece of trash on the ground at Disneyland simply because they believe there is some poor sap who's job it is to come behind them with a broom and a dust pan and clean up the mess.

Now his visits.... which are few and far between... usually serve only as reminders of the pitiful conditions which drove him away.
