The first Dark album is kind of strange, it's like someone took classic Crematory and threw in weird splatterings of Dream Theater (keys and all), and some of the melodic approach is just very unique sounding.

It's a black metal album with some light progressive touches and folk elements. It's not really that weird. It's still a very good album, although their debut is their best effort in my opinion.
