World Cup 2010 - South Africa

If it was deserved i would be glad for the spaniards, but this game just sucked, so did they, and it was a luckyshot at the end by foul play.

So nothing to be realy proud of imo.

And the referee singlehandedly took all the joy out of that game.

Atleast we still have the karate kick :)

For about 40 years we showed the world how football is supposed to be played, now it was time for a change, unfortunatelly that didn't help either. This means we will always be second. Atleast that's what it feels like.

As said, de Jong deserved a red-card. But also Puyol and Iniesta deserved a second yellow card. Tough match from the start, only we were easier to provocate and so got more cards.

Yup, DeJong deserved it, the other mentioned too.
But it was the final, so imo the referee was in order, shure the corner and the Robben thing was a wrong decision, but overall it was alright.

Man I've watched the game with one of my best mates, a dutch, and I got sucked in the game, it was so intense...

And poor Robben, that is something that stays in his mind:ill:
The first of his 2 chances was such a misfortune.

After all the WM was pretty cool!
The Italian and french thing was hilarious, beyond price:lol:

I´ve always respected the Dutch team, but their game yesterday was dirty as fuck, they deserved more red cards. I think the spanish victory was deserved, and it was a fucking intesne game, I don´t think it was boring

For 2 years all the dutch people have been saying that de Jong shouldn't be in the national team with the way he plays. I don't think any other (except de Jong) dutch player made an foul that was "dirty as fuck". Van Bommel made a foul that was also a bit to rough. Next to that, none of the dutch players made fouls that were too rough.

de Jong: deserved red, period.
van Bommel: made 1 foul, after that he didn't do anything wrong
van Bronckhorst, Mathijssen & Robben got a yellow card for having a comment of the referee, fuck Webb stupid c.....
van Persie got a card for just a simple dual with Puyol
Heitinga got 2 yellow cards for a fagot action of Iniesta, if I touch my pinkie on your shoulder you fall down?
van der Wiel: deserved the yellow

Puyol: Got lucky the ref didn't give him his 2nd yellow card after using Robben as human climbing wall.
Iniesta: Got lucky the ref didn't give him his 2nd yellow card after commiting that foul to van Bommel when the ball wasn't even near
Xavi, Capdevilla, Ramos: All just normal yellow cards

Due to one action of de Jong everybody chastises the dutch team. I think that's really unfair.

A rough and dirty game is created by 2 teams, not 1 team!

It was crazy over here. So much even a 33 y/o man died after falling from a building when celebrating the goal.

Hahaha that's kind of awesome. My singer is in Barcelona right now, texted me last night saying that a guy had climbed a stoplight, somehow ripped it off it's post, and was walking around with it over his head for a solid hour. A fucking stop light.

I thought the game was boring at times, with intense moments...at all not too great imo^^
mostly because of the dirty beginning by the dutches...
but I think web really had a though job on that game, keeping the balance of not influence the game too much and be too soft (which he was in the end + he didnt see some stuff going on)
I think most cards were justified at the end of the day tbh.
I also think spain deserved the win, because overall they played better, even if it wasnt their best game.the goal was awesome though

You are my amigo

Spain was the best playing team, so they deserved to win.
The Netherlands though found a nice way to almost destroy the spanish game with sheer brutality.
We Germans should keep that in mind for next time. ;) If I remember right in the game Germany vs. Spain there have been no cards at all.

Please do not follow Holland's example, Germany - Spain was such a beautifully clean match it was so inspiring to watch. I have the utmost respect and admiration for the whole German squad and Joachim Low. And as said before I always admired Holland's football, but the coach and many of the players (like Robben) behaved like huge assholes and sore losers, I think it's pathetic the dutch press is all about saying the referee stole the cup from them.

I do agree the ref was shit, and if the dutch press claims he stole their world cup and was too harsh on them, the spanish press says he was too soft on them and should've given away a couple more reds, I can't say I completely agree with that either.

I personally believe Holland went playing real hard (the first 10 minutes we're very very rough with lots of stopping cause of dutch agressiveness) in an attempt to tire the spanish or simply physically wear them down, and it didn't work. From how the two teams were playing, after about 30 minutes I was in my mind tranquil and confident that spain would win, they clearly played the best football and I don't think having a more... ehm... assertive ref would've changed the end result.

But I do agree the ref was pretty bad (not worst than the england-ger and Arg-mex) and that it has been needed forever to incorporate more techological help for refs, it's simply pathetic how fifa has stuck to stupid tradition until 2010, they really need to man up and face the times. We have all the tools to make a more fair football, there really is no excuse

Dude, this logo is terrible and I´m dead sure that a douchebag fistfucked with corruption won a shitload of money to do this. And what the fuck does it mean? That the trophy is already ours? That we are going to steal it with all those hands? It should have been this one:

LOL. The one you posted really is a million times cooler

I agree so much with this post. I am usually a fan of Holland. But the way they played in this tournament, and especially in the final...they deserved to lose. It is so uncharacteristic of them to play so dirty. Definitely not the team of the past.
