I don´t think americans dislike football due to the low-scores, but because it´s a sport that allows ties. They can watch baseball for 8 hours straight as long as in the end there are winners and losers.

I like draws, it gives a different approach to the game, sometimes a weaker team will aim for the draw, and it will benefit them in the long run.

Did anyone see this story - I was just watching the Brazil vs. N. Korea game and they mentioned that the N. Korean fans at the games are actually recruited Chinese actors hired to cheer for the N. Koreans. I could not believe it so I looked it up and found several stories about it. Too funny to even believe but

It was funny as hell actually, the N.K fans were all dressed in the exact same kit.

Still they played some great football and as the underdogs I was totally rooting for them, their defense was tight and only two bits of Brazilian magic really broke through all night, the first Brazilian goal was a fluke but the second was perfect, N.K's reply at that point was an amazing goal and its just a shame they didnt walk away with a draw.

After seeing their number 9 choke up during the National Anthem (despite liking Brazil a lot), I was totally won over by the North Korean team and I'm going to side with them for the rest of the tournament.

I usually root for the underdog in most circumstances, but in this case I really felt for them challenging such football tyrants as Brazil. When they scored I instinctively cheered and felt some warmth within me...something I haven't done in quite a while, even when supporting my own country.

Totally, they worked really hard, were very organised and no diving at all, plenty of opportunities where they got fouled and just kept on at it.

I'd love to see them beat Portugal, there's nothing I want to see more than for a bunch of hard working Koreans flatten that little smarmy diving Ronaldo bastard and his overly dramatic chums.

North Korea 5-3-2 scheme was way too defensive. The score could be higher if Brazil´s midfield was more creative and inspired, though. Jong Tae Se, who was crying during the anthem, played surprisingly well. Anyway, it was a decent match, a good result and some sweet dribbles for YouTube highlights. Michel Bastos streak where he putted one between the legs of a korean, followed by a "dummy" ("drible da vaca") on the next and ending with a "crossed legs pass" ("de letra") was amazing.
