That is true, but hopefully they will be filtered out early on, as there will be some real talent there.

Second series' of such shows are usually the most interesting, as the first season is a little edgey as no-one knows how it will go, and by the third season the interest has worn down and it just gets monotonous.

That German guy was fucking bad! I couldn't believe how much he sucked. He wouldn't have even made the auditions in Australia. That said, I thought Guy was great. He was the only one I saw who didn't get a negative comment from anyone. Clarkson wasn't at her best. Not that it'll matter though. The Pom was a tosser. Why would you cover Jose Feliciano's version of 'Light My Fire'. It was so uninspired I saw people in the crowd falling asleep! Not that it'll matter though. God I just heard Shannon's version of 'What About Me' on the radio. Terrible. If he'd been on 'World Idol' they would have torn him apart.

Yes, Shannon has more of a rock voice, but that doesn't make him a good singer, and it doesn't make Guy a worse singer. Anyone who thinks Shannon is a better vocalist than Guy is stupid.

Style aside, Guy is LIGHT YEARS beyond Shannon as far as technique alone goes... Shannon's pitching and control is dreadful!

I can't say I'm a massive fan of the style of Guy's voice but just on his vocal skills alone, he's earned my respect!

He did "What a Wonderful World". Sounded like his own arrangement too. I think he is a great singer. Shannon could be too if someone taught him how to use him voice more. He REALLY has a problem with his range.

Dreamy, if you'd heard more than one song by Guy you'll know that he too is a natural talent. Many a person was blown away by his performance of Climb Every Mountain - even people who weren't keen on him.
