WoW!!

Healers were always a problem to find, last night's raid was aborted because of that. It's hard to find and coordinate hardcore players who won't jump off in the middle of it (like that group I had a few nights ago, may be 2 levels higher than the instance's elites, but playing for the first time was very succesful).

Guild I'm in right now seems reliable enough, hope they gona last till i get Kara attuned (guild message says something about Molten Core attunement... hm, i want no less than Black Temple!!!)

My entire 67 level is rest XP, I'm about 3 bubbles in, if i don't go out tonight - I'll be 68 very soon ;)

Oh, and the raid leader had Alchemist's Stone ;)

Good stuff - I'm at about 125% rested xp, with only 3.5 bubbles left in 66. Ran Auchenai Crypts last night, got about 5 bubbles from it, so leveling this weekend shouldn't be an issue.

The only issue I've been having has been gear. Either I don't get drops from the instances until they're on par with the quest greens I'm getting, or I get three items with the same stats, all slightly differing from each other (+2 more stam, but 10 less AP - this other one has less of both, but some Mana/5s).

I've got way too many trinkets. All use activated ones that boost my AP, etc. Would be different if they were useful chained or some such, but the cooldowns are prohibitive for that.

Kov, I got a solution for your trinket issue. Firstly get TrinketMenu (3.7
worked fine for me at least in BC).
Secondly, make queues in TM for your trinket slots, something like this:

Slot 1: Trinket Of The Horde (check this for priority), Something You Don't
Need That Often Cos You Won't Activate The First One Much.

Slot 2: Zandalarian Hero Charm (dam) (check this for priority), Vengeance Of
The Illidari (dam), Something That Has Passive Things Like +crit or +AP.

Then make macro for your attack, I will do show a mage example, tho I think
you were a huntard, it's easy to modify them anyway, check your class forum.

#show Pyroblast (this shows the named spell as the icon, in the macro screen
choose the "?" as your icon or you can just forget this and choose the actual
icon)
/dismount [mounted] (This dismounts you if you're mounted, not sure
if it's needed anymore with the new patch that seems to do that anyway,
I kept it cos I don't trust anything Blizzard does)
/startattack (Starts auto-attack just so you don't have to worry about
that pointless crap, yet another moronicity by Blizzard not having this done
automatically when you attack or get attacked)
/cast Presence of Mind
/stopcasting
/cast Arcane Power
/stopcasting
/use Zandalarian Hero Charm
/stopcasting
/use Vengeance Of The Illidari
/cast Pyroblast

Only slight limitation (bypassed with hitting the key twice) is that you can't
be moving, even tho you have POM there, all the spells get checked at the
same time, thus POM won't make Pyroblast instant and if you're moving it
will get cancelled, of course when you hit the key another time all the other
stuff is active already and thus Pyroblast is instant.

The trinket part is that you can have as many trinkets listed, as long as you
have /stopcasting after each one, the macro will continue to resolve and will
use whichever trinket is active, so if you already use ZHC and have been
out of combat so that your TrinketMenu has switched VOTI in it's place, then
the macro will use VOTI instead.

Since you're using the trinket name the macro won't care which slot the
trinket is in, I had 3 different damage trinkets running, 1 was in slot 1 under
Horde PvP trinket and had passive +crit and activated +dam, since the +crit
will activate regardless of the cooldown on the damage part.
The other 2 were ZHC and VOTI in slot 2.

Another thing for trinkets is Outfitter, which can switch stuff like Carrot On
A Stick to one slot when you mount up and switch your normal trinket back
when you dismount. I never used this, cos of the cooldowns on the dam
trinkets and if you get attacked which mounted you're fucked cos you need
to get out of combat before Outfitter (or anything else) can switch your
normal trinket back.

Is it sad that I wrote that macro from memory?

Anyway, on WoW dying, you just watch, it will come sooner than you think,
everyone who does PvP WILL move to AoC or WAR since WOW PvP is moronic.

Btw, WAR, 20,000 Beta guild applications, 300,000 single applications, it's one
of the biggest betas in any MMORPG. WAR will be big and since it's Mythic,
GW and EA it will do really well... WOW well, maybe not, but you can trust it
to steal every hardcore PvPer from WOW, as Mythic has a good rep in PvP.

Anyway, it don't really make no difference to me if WoW will die or not, but
there is no way I will ever again give ANY money to Blizzard, their game sucks
and their support isn't in any way better. Not to even mention the forums.

So far, nothing. No word on it's length and such. I'm assuming it works comparable to a Prestige Class in DnD, but really no basis for that aside from my feelings on how it would work. I'm betting it replaces levels of another class. I'm also going to assume that they'll be releasing more than one Hero Class, as just one would provoke an awfully large number of copycats.

I'm most interested in the new zones. Inscriptions sounds rather boring, but who knows, I might be surprised.

Onward with PvP for me. Right now it's the easiest gear for me to get, thanks to the 7k honor I got yesterday losing in AV for 3 hours. Fucking AFKavers.

Yes! Got out just in time, another crappy expansion that will fuck the game
up even more than it is now. And btw, good luck with the siege shit in a game
that knows not the words "class balance". GG Blizzard, try to copy WAR some
more in a faint hope that you can keep your players.

On the new expansion: the new class (death knight) will be a plate wearing caster who can summon minions. Also, there will be a new profession called etching or some crap which will be a lot like enchanting.

Wah-wah-wee-wah! Interesting how they are going to balance this one :)

I think the profession is something creating items for powering up slots (head, chest, leg slot, etc.) with certain abilities (like resistance).

They just aren't going to balance it. They haven't been able to balance Diablo 2 after a lot of patches. I guess they are just not able to balance rpgs.

Actually, as far as 'caster' goes, it basically only self-buffs its weapon as far as I've heard.

Downed first boss in Kara on Saturday. If we didn't have one totally apathetic ex-guildy for one of our priests, we probably would have made it further. As is, we're a tad undergeared and under-experienced, but we're having fun with it.
