Just as an aside, I'm not sure what CS GCD means.
Also, I've heard a lot about this whole decursive thing. It's been quite some time since I've played my old priest, and I never made it to the 40 mans with him, so I can't really speak from experience, but I've heard basically two points of view on this. I don't think anyone really argues that Decursive was a necessity, but rather some see it as a crutch, and others as a valuable tool to help minimize the amount of time spent doing an otherwise boring task. I can understand both sides on this, and I think I know where you stand. My guess is that the move to 25 man raids should take most of the burden off in this regard, but that logic in itself exposes the only flaw I can find with the game right now. (Maybe that's because I play a hunter. )
It seems like a lot of the design changes that Blizzard has made to the game right now fall along the lines of 'Yeah, it doesn't look too pretty right now, but hey, when you get BC, it's gonna solve everything.' Now, I plan on getting BC. But basically, this response is making me think that they basically broke the game from 55-60 to make it infinitely more playable from 60-70. I can't really see how that's a good design strategy, and after thinking it over, I really have to agree with the people who say that it's come down to X-Pac or quit.

EDIT: Counterspell Global Cooldown. Got it.
