where is MJR in the gods ofthe guitar section? he will kick some major ass i guarantee
nah, not gonna happen unfortunately...
I've been keeping pretty close to Planet X news (via Planet X, Virgil Donati, Tony MacAlpine forums) and it's actually more likely that Planet X will end... If they do tour again, it'll most likely be with Brett Garsed on guitars, which would be fine by me, but Virgil has started up a new power trio with Tony and Billy Sheehan, and in a interview with Derek not long ago, he sounded pretty down about the whole Planet X thing... shame...
^^
Fuck dude, not going to come to your fest...

What the hell is wrong with MY fest?
I figure since Dragonforce isn't there everyone would come!
I thought about that...he would fit in perfectly.. but I was just assuming he'd only play with S-X...but if I could have both? Then fuck yeah!
Wank fest 07:
Day 1. Metal:
Dream Theater - not playing any songs from 8vm (except title track) and ToT.
Opeth - all songs after and including MAYH
Porcupine tree - Do whatever the hell they want to do. It's all good.
SX- Anything except the self titled
Pain of Salvation - I don't care what they play, I'll be gone long before they hit the stage.
Day 2. Prog:
IQ - playing latest 3 studio albums in their entirety.
Spock's Beard - With Neal doing first 3 studio albums and V
The Flower Kings - Anything goes.
Anglagard - Reunion with Tord Lindman and Hybris played in its entirety.
Day 3. Fusion
Planet X with Brett Garsed on guitar
Tribal Tech playing songs from Illicit, Reality Check and Face First
Uncle Moe's Space Ranch all playing together.
Ending with an On The Virg reunion.
Get everyone from The Human Equation together to do a live broadway-like performance. Russell and Michael can show up to do "Dawn of A Million Souls" as an encore.
Symphony X performing V
UFO w/ Schenker circa '78 or '79
Scorpions w/ Uli Roth circa '78 or '79
Judas Priest pre Screaming For Vengeance
Iron Maiden circa '80 w/ Paul Dianno
Steve Morse late 80's early 90's
Eric Johnson around '84-'85
Megadeth w/ Friedman or Poland
Ozzy with Rhoads
that's too bad. Greg would've brought some serious fire to the band.
