There's a tremendous rift between the best sounding material of Hatebreeder and the weakest sounding. Unfortunately that stains a little bit the album as whole for me. Some of it sounds absolutely perfect while some is outright retarded. I mean for example Towards Dead End... the melody things are just brilliant, but why did they have to ruin the song with those remarkably shitty vocal sections. Hatebreeder is also one of their best songs but suffers greatly from the shitty vocals that come with the chorus. Etc. Still, atm that album turns me on most.

This. But it's only just in the lead. I actually highly enjoy all of their albums in their entirity, with the exception of Blooddrunk. Like most of it, but there were a couple of 'eh...' earners in there as well.
