Ok so the primary function isn't that of a studio purpose, but in all seriousness does anyone want samples? I bought it today. It actually sounds pretty neat when you whack it.

Sure, do you hit it with drumsticks or hit something with it?

It might be an early Rev F...will find out when I get it unless you might know? Serial: 649

also when it gets to you and you have access to the back

edit: just recognized that won't really give you info on Rev E of F

from the serial numbers from the first link it seems to be more of a rev F than a rev E :D
(says F started around 654 or earlier, and E ended around 630 or so)

2nd link makes it seem it' a rev F (says it started with 602)

Seems it's a bit of a blurry area especially since there's no concrete "from this number onwards it's this..." ....it's either an E or a very early F that's for sure :p

yeah, I guess you have to make sure by the transformer or something...I theres the detailed info somewhere on what excatly makes Rev F the Ref F, other than the serial #.

It's written on the motherboard but you need to undo the chassis and have a look inside =(

Not had chance to really properly test it yet but initial impression is good.
I like that you can group instances to globally bypass or adjust gain.
