List your 5 favorite power metal albums.
I'll be really rude and start:

Gamma Ray - Powerplant
Primal Fear - Seven Seals
Helloween - The Dark Ride
Rage - Soundchaser
Blind Guardian - Nightfall In Middle Earth

...would recommend these to anyone with even the slightest interest in power. Not your usual strato or sonata-metal, a bit heavier perhaps.

The Primal Fear shocked me when it came out last year, having been what you could say a Judas Priest clone their whole career, they did some experimenting and suddenly got mature as hell. This album just came out of nowhere and landed in my top5 of power metal. I sure got my eyes on these guys now.

Nevermore isn't powermetal are they? If they are, swap out IE for This Godless Endeavor. I limited this to only 1 band per choice otherwise it would have been my top 5 favorite Rage albums
