and cradle sucks, no matter what genre they get stuck in. they are niether black nor death metal.

i like in flames, but there is a whole big ocean out there. a lot of really good riffs. in flames is becoming one of those entry level bands for death metal.

I pretty much like Cradle though... They´re not personal favorites, but they are indeed good and professional....

And yeah filth are definately black metal. But even their they're fucking outgunned. I direct you to Emperor, Darkthrone, Ephel Duath, Mayhem, Immortal etc, etc

In Flames and Cradle Of Filth aren't death metal at all for sure! check out bands like Malevolent Creation, Houwitser, Vomitory, Morbid Angel, Cannibal Corpse, Cryptopsy, Disinter, The Forsaken, The Crown, Krisiun, Sinister, Fleshcrawl, Requiem, Nile, Vader, Death, Diabolic, Necrophobic, Unleashed, Decapitated, Entombed, Bolt Thrower and many many more! THIS is real death metal.
