2013 NHL Thread

Thank you Mort.

Zero, get the static out of your brain. You are way off base here. As mentioned the Bs have thier sketchy moments but they are way few and far between. For a team that has a rep for being tough, phys, etc. as they are, theyre very intelligent and have no thug aspect. Good tough two-way hockey players. You dont knock of a team like the Pens (last year) by being thugs, you do it with clean smart tough hockey, and SCORING! Theyve had the best 3rd and more so 4th line in the league the last few years for a reason. They will answer the bell the right way with the best of the tough guys (led by Thorton) yet they produce many points as well. Same for the 1st and 2nd liners as well for that matter.

Good post.

Jesus fucking Christ. Sedins can do no wrong. Fuck you NHL

Fuck the Sedin sisters.

That Scott hit was dirty as fuck, rms, and you know it.

It was a bad hit, I don't wanna say it's dirty because to me that implies he wanted to nail his head man.

Scott has been a less dirty player than most of the Bruins, if you want to consider that as well.

Well, Scott hasn't been that dirty before this year, and he's not the dirtiest Sabre (Kaleta by far). The Bruins have some players who can be dirty (Lucic, Marchand, Chara, etc.), but none of them are that dirty.

:err::guh::loco::yow:...just dont know how to respond to that one lol

Come on, other Bruins players have had worse hits and more often than Scott has ever had in his career

That dirty? Scott made one bad hit in what, 180 games? come on now.

He's been given no chance to succeed - he's been stuck with some combination of Abdelkader, a lazy and seriously slumping Franzen, and Daniel Fucking Cleary all year.

Despite the bad stats, he's been playing solid responsible hockey and if given Nyquist or Tatar I have no doubt he'll start to put up points.

I'm glad the Oilers are sucking as hard this year as they've always done, it shouldn't pay off to mismanage your organization year after year for a high draft pick. It actually takes some work to develop young players even if they are highly talented, something they don't seem to have realized.

Yup, love it. Fuck them, fuck their fans, and fuck Justin Schultz.

I also love how they're handing out all those big contracts based on 1 or 2 years of play.

Jagr became 6th in all-time points tonight.

1- Gretzky: 3,239
2- Messier: 2,182
3- Howe: 2,010
4- Francis: 1,941
5- Yzerman: 1,940
6- Jagr: 1,896

He has a legitimate shot at top 4 before the season is over, pretty cool.

:err::guh::loco::yow:...:D sorry had to again lol.

maybe so, but those Bruins contribute other things with thier game. Scott does not...i hate any player like that.
