2013 NHL Thread

Considering the talent they have on the team it's almost embarrassing how bad they are.

They need to shake up the front office some.

Anyways, nice to see the Wings play a full sixty minutes for once. I know it was against a seriously awful team, but this was a typical Wings trap game. Weak opponent, second game of a back to back, and without backup goalie...

Seeing Helm score like he did was amazing. Mrazek was very good even though he was hardly challenged, but nice to see him get his first NHL shutout.

Tatar was amazing too. 3 straight games with a goal in each. Now they just need to get Nyquist in the line up and this team CAN make some noise.

They need Veteran D which they don't have and they need a #1 Goalie. Dubnyk is an absolute disgrace to that organisation, he sucks big time. They should have pushed hard for Schneider. If they would of landed him I guarantee you they wouldn't be doing as bad as they are now.

Fucking New Jersey lost against fucking Flyers. It's sad watching them not to shoot ONCE during a two minute power-play.

Getting tired of Pacioretty's shit...

He fucking misses the net every time during a shootout. Fucking 3 for 16 all time... Why do they even bother...

That's the one thing I hate. Montreal isn't that great in shootouts, which is odd considering some of really crafty players Montreal has.

Really? I just watched former Bruins Seguin and Peverly both score in tonites shootout to help Dallas defeat the Bruins. FUCKIN PISSER!

He's 5'11" and 165...sure he has time to grow, but do they really need another small forward?

They would be much better off going for Aaron Ekblad

He's a very talented player and will probably be a star in the future so why not. Size doesn't matter.

There's a rumor that Edmonton and Rangers are gonna make a trade. Del Zotto and someone more for Yakupov. Hope this will go through.

Maybe because they already have a bunch of small, skilled forwards? Why would they pick the small forward over the top pairing defenseman, when they need a top pairing defenseman?

Edmonton want to trade Yakupov for Del Zotto and someone more and Rangers are interested. They're discussing about it right now so the defenseman spot will be filled soon. Then Reinhart can take Yakupov's place. I really hope that Rangers gets Yakupov as long as Brassard, J.Moore and Callahan doesn't get traded away.

Edmonton is probably better off getting rid of three out of RNH, Hall, Eberle and Yakupov while acquiring someone like Weber plus a top 10 goalie.

I love that the Rangers think they can just keep adding pure scorers and become a better team. Clearly the chemistry is lost or something on that team. Richards should be sold off so Stepan and Brassard can excel, no? Those two guys are studs.

I almost don't want the Sabres to get Reinhart then, I didn't see his size stats..we need are so small on the left handed winger, and I already like Ennis who I think is a little heavier than Reinhart..looking at a mock draft, the first big winger is #6 to CJB--rather have him but whatever we will probably take Reinhart or Ekblad anyways..I think if EDM gets #1 they should trade that spot, and see what they can get for it.
