Pretty much the same with me, but with Maiden instead. :S

How people can listen to and appreciate true-black-metal-of-cave-of-the-woods ? Men, when you listen to some old Darkthrone, Nehemah or Mayhem stuff, everything you can hear is an horrible crackling supposed to be a guitar sound, and a guy puking his lungs as if he sang in his bathroom.

That's not a kind of art. Kvlt black metal is shit.

I like it because of the music (the song structures, the atmosphere, the weird guitar tones, etc). Not because of the production, or because of the vocals.

The songs happen to contain an atmospheric quality that I enjoy. That's all. Not to mention, it gets boring listening to so many lame hardcore bands with top-notch production after awhile.

Floyd is awesome...But they aren't at all metal. Some people consider stuff like Sabbath, Zeppelin, and classic rock as early metal, but Floyd was never one of those bands, as they never really influenced the metal that came later. They were psychedelic rock, not hard rock.

But they are still awesome

I like PF a lot, they are really one of my favorite bands, but The Wall is definitely the worse album they made. Animals, DSOTM or Atom Mother Heart are way better.

Man, this song is SO great, I listened to it for the first time when I was higly stone, lying on my bed.. The chorus and the solo are demential.
