Oh and if any of you decide to do what I did. Please know that you have to actually break your mouse to do it. There are 2 gray rings on the underside of the mouse and you got to remove the outer one to get the thing apart. I noticed that in some spots this ring was glued on so you have to break it off in order to get at the guts of the mouse.
Also cleaning that ball enclosure was a bitch. small parts that involved magnets sticking to everything.

Please tell me you are at least using a wired G5 kev...wireless is awful in general, but especially for gaming.

I only PC-game rarely and casually, but my wireless mouse works fine for it, and since I use a laptop where all my cables are snaking across my desk, each one I can cut down on is WELL worth the sacrifices that I don't perceive at all (the only one I can think of is batteries, which I swap every 1 1/2 months or so). And we're talking about mice here people, jesus tap-dancing christ...
