Why are the laws of nature what they are? If you accept natural selection, you accept it as a matter of faith, for surely you have not lived long enough to see it happen and to verify that it will ALWAYS happen.

You missed the important part of what I said. That it will ALWAYS happen. As in, why does time run forward as opposed to backwards? Might it ever reverse?
Or, to be really annoying, do you believe that the dark side of the moon (not the Floyd album!) looks as it has been depicted in photos? There are certain articles of scientific faith that one must simply accept.
This is pretty frustrating. I'm just going to stop. I'm not going to change anyone's mind. This has turned into a shit thread, and I think I'm partially responsible.
