Tonight is an everything night where Im at. Blizzard of '13 FTW!

I have a bottle of Lagavulin to polish off.

Been drinking Dales Pale Ale, Smuttynose RObust Porter, Founders Breakfast Stout, now onto maybe Lagavulin and some Red Wine.

I will agree that all single malts I've had are perfectly great, and even the ones I don't prefer are still worth drinking.

But things found in giant plastic bottles for $12 at the bottom of the liquor aisle (always at the bottom), not so much.

When I first got a bottle of Laphroaig I wasn't sure how to pronounce it correctly, so I imagined two happy/drunk Scotsmen continually referring to it as Ol' Froggy as we all got pissed. The vision ended with them laughing at my pathetic attempt to keep up with seasoned veterans such as themselves.

I got the cask strength for about $58 (with tax). Think the quarter cask is a little cheaper

indeed, cluny is one of the worst scotch whiskies i've ever tried. it's one of the cheapest ones available at SYSTEMBOLAGET (the swedish liquor store) so i've bought it a couple of times. not great.

for budget blended whiskies, this is now my go-to:
