A new Symphony X fan!!!!!!

I just happened to stumble across these guys a few weeks ago and I cant stop listening to them. I just boust V and the live cd.

What should be my next purchase??? I'm sure I'll get a few different answers but I'd like some input on which cd I should get next.

Symphony X are just amazing. Its great when you come across new bands!!

Its pretty awsome to know I have a bunch of good cds waiting to be heard. I just cant get enough of these guys right now!! It sucks that their cds are hard to find in stores. I found V and Live on the edge of forever but the others will be a bitch to find unless I hit amazon.com or something like it.

On another topic: Anybody dig Pain of Salvation???? This is another band who I think have their own sound and voice.

Pilgrim, Pain of Salvation are fantastic! I saw them for the first time when they supported DT in London. I got into them in 2000 and every album they've done since Entropia (which I don't really like) is fantastic, IMO.

As for which Sym X CD to get, I'd go with Twilight...

"Entropia" is an amazing album... in fact... my sig is found in the closing piece from that conceptual work...

Pain Of Salvation represents 1/3rd of my "holy trilogy" of favorite bands... residing alongside Symphony X and Evergrey.

Entropia is such a great Cd!!! Actually everything that P.O.S has put out is fantastic. I cant wait til November to see them live. I wish they would do a real tour thru the states, oh well.

By the way, What does Evergrey sound like????
