Yeah I've seen that before, not heard it though, its probably worth getting though, I'm sure the Forgotten Tomb cover is excellent as they're a very Katatonia-ish band.

This has been discussed pretty extensively already around the time it came out, forum members Unicorn and Swany even appear on the album (Hel (= Unicorn) Feat. Winterheart (= Swany) - Cold Ways).

the only covers I've heard are Wyrd's and Forgotten Tomb's and they both rule. I'm getting this right now and I'll return with feedback

well, black metal apparently owes katatonia a lot since most of these are black metal bands using somewhat necro production, enjoyable nonetheless

Easy highlights are Xasthur, Wyrd, Dark Fortress, Helevorn, Forgotten Tomb, and especially Hel ft. Winterheart (really interesting and awesome take on Cold Ways)

no problem, that was easily the most impressive, no one really recreates songs like that anymore

The Foscor rendition to Gateways of Bereavement is awesome, too!

Beatrik and Forgotten Tomb do the best covers on this album. I love how Forgotten Tomb form "Nowhere" into a much more sinister song than it originally was. The verse sounds almost punk-oriented.
