A word of warning....

Make sure the LIMO has a wheelchair in the back for J-Man once the festival is over
Let's start out with a wheelchair from the get go, that way i don't have to search for one, I know i will need one next year, in fact Todd you may have to make sure I get back to the hotel each night.:kickass: :kickass: :kickass:

You got it my brother  :kickass: We'll just park the wheelchair outside the venue with a This Space For Rent sign

Airlines could care less about its passengers:mad:

Especially American Airlines. We got "stranded" in MIA last Sunday for over 4 h and they didn't even gave us food on an international flight, just peanuts and some juice. And when some passengers complain the flight attendants answered us rudely, for a moment I thought they will going to call security. We get really pissed.

On the other hand I can't complain about my direct Delta flight to PPVII, I hope to use it again next year.

So obviously on this forum, we need to make disclaimers or be sure to write <sarcasm> before every message.

<sarcasm>I can't afford that...</sarcasm>

It's only $3. I don't see why you wouldn't be able to afford it.

I can attest that he's quite adept at helping those unable to help themselves get back to the hotel. *cough* PPVI *cough*

Ummm... wouldn't that be better suited next to your head, bub? j/k!! *mwah*

Ticket price isn't a problem. But ouch on the hotels so far. The one I had reserved last year before ending up not being able to go is $159 a night. I got it last year at a weekend rate for $99 a night and messing around with days didn't cause that rate to show up.

I don't think I can afford that this year...

Yeah me neither.

And in regards to hotel prices/packages, I completely agree. Seems like you can get block package deals almost anywhere. And sorry to say, but Atlanta just is not the top vacay destination for most people, so why the hell not? What if everyone concerned collectively bombarded a specific hotel with requests for "deals." If they decline, then we could simply move on to another place. Doubt it will happen but hey, thats how things get done I suppose.

The only problem with that is hotel space is at a premium, especially with hotels closing/remodeling, etc. They know that can raise prices because space is at a premium for at least the next year, I would imagine. Eventually any hotel that gives us a "deal", will fill up, and /or overbook. Since that happens anyway, I think we're just plain S.O.L. It sucks!

Gee,I "can't wait" to stay in that fleabag Super 8 again for $99 this year.
I just might get my father to get me an employee discount rate a little farther away at a Holliday in Express(Hell,at what I would get th eroom for, even with the cab fare it would be much cheaper)

That is exactly what is going on.

Super 8 was still something like $89 when I was checking.
I found a small place called Ansley Inn. It's about half a mile from the venue. Anyone ever stayed there? Seems like a nice bed and breakfest type place and only $99.

Why don't we just say the hell with it and sleep 20 to a room   Bring your sleeping bags and let's par-tay!!!

MARTA killed me this year, although the cheap price of Best Western at the Peachtrees made up for it. Anything above $150 for hotel/transportation and you're getting ripped off.

The ticket wouldn't be a ripoff if it was $200 in my opinion. It would just be inconvenient as hell.
