The Granada was indeed taken over by new ownership. I have been told there would be interior remodeling, but nothing that would either not be done prior to Sept or not effect us regardless.

I went & tried to reserve a room at the Granada for various weekends next September and got 'hotel unavailable' messages.. :/

I must have gotten in a reservation at Granada before the masses started guessing. But I'm pretty sure it's on the wrong weekend as there was another certain weekend already fully booked. I have a few reservations at various hotels because I couldn't decide. One over a mile and a half away but really nice. Another pretty close but kind of pricey. And another a little further at a decent rate.

I paid $60 dollars a night for a 2 bed at the Super8, it was nice enough (hell i met Jorn there). And i also remember a lobby full of people freaking out when i told them thats what i paid after they said they had to pay like $99 for the same rooms there,lol. Guess the rooms are cheaper the sooner you buy them, hee hee. Not bad for a newbie i guess,lol.
