Hey guys, My Dad is starting to get into more instrumental music and I wanted to make him a CD. Im looking for ANYTHING that you guys think is good. Name any band no matter how obvious or obscure the song may be you. I just want to get my Dad some nice relaxing beautiful music. I also posted this in the Dan Swano board, so sorry if you had to read this twice. Me and my Dad thank you!

Try Dream Theater - Erotomania, Liquid Tension Experiment - Acid rain, Metallica - Orion, Metallica - The call of ktulu, Pocupine Tree - Wedding nails

Theres many more, but I cant think of them right now

Well, there's obviously a bunch of things you could pull off of Opeth records... :) :D :) :p :)

Also, for a more classical spin, you can't beat anything by Andres Segovia or his student, Christopher Parkening. Absolutely mind-blowing stuff.

Quo Vadis - Dream
Jason Becker - End of the Beginning
Death - Voice of the Soul
In Flames - Dialogue with the Stars

Dark Tranquillity - The Mind's I
A Silver Mt. Zion - Sit in the Middle of Three Galloping Dogs
