Forsaken - Pentateuch

This seems to be one of the more hyped albums in traditional doom metal this year. It sounds really big and cool, but the songwriting is a real drag and I don't think that it ever really gets anywhere. I've had a promo copy for months and I haven't found much to write home about with this album.

Primitive Man's Caustic album. Their first release was more straightforward sludgecore with noise influences, but Caustic sounds like bullshit Sunn 0))) worship with gutteral vocals.
