It really depends on the band and what the producer is trying to bring out. For instance, I love Andy Sneap's work on Dead Heart in a Dead World, but such a production would be awful for Black Metal.

no they didn't even try because it would sound ridiculouser than ever

Wurd. I'm close to getting a pair of 683's in cherry. I bought a sweet Bell'O A/V tower last weekend and have my front end shit installed in it already. I have my modded BIC Venturi's set up and they sound so much better now that they have a solid unit pushing them and a really nice pair of Kimber Cables hooked up to em. Howver, they still sound like absolute SHIT compared to the stuff I am looking at.

I only have one chick these days, and she isn't gonna be posted anywhere in any forums where Jerry resides.
