I've seen most of these pics a bunch of times, but I just noticed what to me looks like a medical bracelet. I made closeups of the best pics I could find. I have one, so there's a shot of mine for comparison.
It's hanging down in front of my watch.

Conditions for use
Typical conditions warranting such a tag are:

type 1 diabetes mellitus
severe allergy, especially to insect sting, antibiotics or medications
adrenal insufficiency
pacemaker or other implantable medical devices
blood thinners such as warfarin
chronic illness
disaster evacuation
In addition to mention of a condition, the tag may have a telephone number that medical personnel can call for more information, such as specific medications and phone number of physician or care-giver.

Such a tag may also be useful as proof of such a condition to law enforcement personnel.

what's a medical bracelet
from Wikipedia:
A medical identification tag is a small tag worn on a bracelet, neck chain, or on the clothing bearing a message that the wearer has an important medical condition that might require immediate attention. The intention is to alert a physician, emergency department personnel or police of the condition even if the wearer is not conscious enough or old enough to explain. Some people prefer to carry a wallet card with the same information.

so that's the purpose of it basically. it's a safety precaution, a warning for people so they know the person has a serious medical condition. the most common ID is on a bracelet and it's traditionally red on silver, but there are all different shapes, colors and cuts now. i scanned mine, the symbol is red but it shows up as silver. i have it engraved on the front with my initials and on the back with the disorder.

i hope that kind of explains it. :)

so what was the purpose of this thread again? to inform us that alexi wears one?
Not to inform, to bring up the question of whether he wears one or not. If anyone knows.

Well... I think it's kinda interesting if he has one... Though that might also be a common bracelet where could read his name or something...
Thank you, I didn't wanna be attacked for "saying" he's got something and starting a rumor. But yeah, it could definitely be some kind of name bracelet or whatever. The shape is common.

Yep, and if he's an epileptic then the flashing lights at shows might cause an epilepsy attack.
I'm a hardcore epileptic and lights never cause my seizures. It's a myth. Only coincidence that many epileptics' brains are configured so with their problematic tubors/tumors that when brain wave electricity flows through and hits a problem area, it happens to be in the temporal lobe or an area highly concerning sight.

My disorder is genetic and results from non-cancerous tumors in my brain being struck with electricity while my mind is basically... in the wrong place at the wrong time. It can't be triggered according to tests, but stress and anxiety bring them on a lot. It's random and unexplained right now, unlike the other cases in my family. The only thing I know is the tumors have remained the same size since I was first tested at 5.

Another (I think) interesting thing is that from what I understand, the tumors are basically growths that while forming, eat away at the brain tissue it's moving into in order to create room for itself. Kinda like spring cleaning haha. Placement of the tumors/tubors can be significant in some cases since say, if everything is clustered into the temporal lobe, the waves which pass through are more likely to cause a seizure because of the alternative material's density. Mine is very spread out, so it's not possible to determine where exactly the problem tumor is unless I do some more testing, which I don't feel like going right now. Because I have several types of seizures, for all I know the tumors like to take turns screwing with my day. They're considerate like that.

But yeah back on Bodom topic- I was just interested and thought maybe someone would know. It may be something serious he chooses not to talk about, it may be an allergy or it could just be some kind of name bracelet. Curiousity killed the cat.

hm honestly I hear about something like this for a first time, but it's interesting, thanks for sharing this with us :) But I think that his is not medical one, because we must have already heard something about it...

btw, nice pic :p

how are the other bracelets called?...is there a special name for such bracelets or what?

Damn, teh lady is hot but i think we're all looking into this medical bracelet thing too much. That's probably just another one of his kickass bracelets that i want. If he needs a medical bracelet for anything, it would be for over driniking and getting alcohal poisoning. BUt the 9th pic down, do i see skulls on his bracelet?
