I read something saying he was trying to slow down with the alcohol before shows, but, I see him with a beer more often than not. I've seen drunks play and they lose their coordination and any good chops if they ever had any to begin with.

Alexi's not losing anything, he's a great guitar player... you don't just lose that... maybe his hearts not fully in it when he wanted it all so bad. He's got it all now.... so, maybe he's not trying as much.

Does anyone have some Jeff Loomis vids that really show off his skill? I watched the ones from the Guitar World April Issue and he didn't really play good in them.

I totally agree. I dont think it should matter though. Hes better than all of us combined. Besides, Cob is some hard stuff to play.

Hey, does it kinda seem like to everybody that when playing on a very used guitar (not beat, but many hours of playing), that it plays better than a brand new guitar? I played a strat that some guy has had since 1973 and plays it every day. Im not a Fender guy, but that was the best playing guitar Ive ever played. Ive kinda noticed since I got my Explorer last christmas, playing abot 4 to 10 hours a day, it plays a little better. Weird.
