Searched "Vlad The Impaler" and it said he is the true Dracula. Wow. Said he was a crusading christian knight who fought in the Great Crusades. Only ate bread dipped in his victims blood. The victims were speared on 6ft spears and were kept like that in his garden. Wow.

Well here's some pics of my fist time in Melbourne, with Opeth...

Apologies for the quality, they were taken on a cellphone.

First up, this was the venue: The Forum, in central Melbourne. One of the coolest looking-ones I have been in (from the outside at least). Yep, those are Wyverns up there!

Opening act, The Eternal. Doomy sound.

Opeth plays...they had a huge silk-screened Ghost Reveries Backdrop. Mikael commented that it was "very expensive"...

After two hours of waiting outside the Stage door, Mikael and Peter come out to chat with the fans briefly. I got my poster signed and told them I'd see them again in NZ.
