I will dl'd music off iTunes only if it won't break my heart if I lose it... but the stuff I absolutely LOVE, I have on CD...
You do know you can
1. Back up your iTunes folder
2. Re-download purchased material.

For those of you who still appreciate CDs and records, be sure to visit http://www.recordstoreday.com/Home and go occupy a local record store next weekend.
Very cool! There is a teeny weeny little heavy metal record store in Vienna VA (the Vienna Music Exchange) that I'll have to occupy on that day.
A.K.A. The bedroom metal shop. I've been there a few times. CD Cellar in Falls Church is also worth checking out. I know they're running some specials that day.
The only used CD shop in the area worth a damn anymore.
I've had good luck at McKays used books in Manassas too. Hmmm, maybe I should stop listing my sources before you all swoop in and take my precious metal.
Anyone notice the used CD's on Ebay are becoming more expensive? Use to get many of them for roughly 5.00 or so, but now with the increase seller fee's and this "free shipping," I have noticed prices creeping up.
Over the past few days I've learned that there are people who actually keep databases of CD's they own.

You should see my DVD-R database... 2200 strong.
