A few years from now america's recent new style of metal arrived and became the most popular one!what do you think about new-metal or nu-metal?is not deserved such pupularity don't you think?all over the metal sin in america exists great bands with great musicians that should say something about it. It should be their obligation to separate metal from the all kinds of shit. The unity in america's metal is no longer clear...how can anyone say that limp biskit and slipknot belong to the same type of music?!any real metal fan recognize the infestation of the new kind of metal that is not metal at all let's please separate the metal from the hard rock or rap-rock or what the fuck is that!Nevermore rulez, they are the heart of america's real metal

Nu-Metal is dying however I don't want a lot of the metal we listen to become swallowed by trendwhores. It would be very insulting.

New Metal just did what Death metal did back in the middle of the nineties... It exploded in it's own face because the scene got overcrowded and redundant...

In america, I seems to ba a big problem... Thrash did so too in the beggining of the nineties...

My opinion on American Metal:

with a few exceptions, american metal is largely trend based and rarely innovative. The few bands that innovate are then copied by many others within their scene and their originality is diluted.

of course this happens everywhere, but it seems to happen to an extreme in the US, at least from my prospective anyway.

well ummm...hahah Numetal is dying...but i do think its retarded to be elitist about the music you listen to...i mean you can atleast say "hey! i listened to them before they got big!" im glad mallmetal is dying...very glad...

I really didn't think of it that way.

But don't you feel that they got into music because it's what they loved to do and create art no matter whether they had 10 fans or 10 million?
