An observation on the 2004 lists...

I think it's going to be tough to come up with a system that accurately depicts either the staff writers' or the forums' Top 10. I believe one of the reasons this forum generates as much traffic as it does, is because of the diversity. There aren't many forums, anywhere on the net, that can generate 238 posts on NSBM and 94 on Jeff Buckley.

I agree... I feel rushed this year as there was stuff I didn't get until the end of the year...

Can't say that I will strongly support this list in a year, unlike last year's list, it still holds pretty true for me.

It was #1 on my list, which is a collection of anachronisms, faggy power metal, and Graveland. Apparently I'm WAY out of touch with the metal scene.
