belgar you didnt mention the solution thought? i know that your disapointed that Obama won, but you think the brave nation that you mention will rise if MaCain won?
Not really. I believe McCain had a cleaner record on some civil values "such as gun control", whereas Obama for examplle favored "more lenient laws regarding legal d-rugs, both would have ended up being of the same.
My vote would not have been for any of them. I don't really believe in "wasting" votes as it is a given right in any democracy to use this right of vote. I do, however' believe that none of the candidates really represented the average American.
My believe is that with either McCain or Obama, you will ultimately get, more wars, more corrupt gov., more of the same in the way of trying to socialize SSN, health insurance, favor such and such big corporations, etc.
I strongly believe that they will never pull out of Iraq as Obama as promised. I look at it, as Machiavelli clearly put in works, or as Cesar explained in his conquest of Gaul. The US would be fooled not to keep "princes" in these lands, that is until the people start being unhappy, which is happening now. Today, they lavish you with so called, "iraq" is a happy place, what they don;t tell you is that the attacks in Afghanistan have gone up to where Iraq's attacks where before. I watched last week's British congressional testimony of British Generals all agreeing with this statement .. "it is going nowhere".
This follows US puppet Sarkozy who has nealry doubled France's presence in that country, along with being the biggest US ally and cry baby for more troops in that region.
That being said, I believe the US is still regarding Russia and many other countries as the little kids of the early 90's. Guess what, Russia now has the power to tell the US to f'off, as does China. The US being now, the world's biggest debtor to China.
I am not just trying to be a smartass, but I have studied enough of EU, and US history to notice the same pattern which has plagued empires centuries, and centuries before, and to see the same happening, over and over and over again. With always the same issue, people being sheeps and too passive to ask for change.
Just keep in mind, that the US in Iraq is not just there to bring people flowers and happiness. They would not be there had it not been for something better ... again, I draw conclusions to the Romans and Greeks. If that was the case.
The Romans were the same way, they were not in your region just for the beauty of the trees ... they stayed if you had power, gold, wealth, trade, etc.
Al that being said ... McCain and Obama will and never had the interest of the average Joe in mind ... they however needed the average Joe to vote for them. The end result will be the same shit. Bankers own all of the institutions ... kinda sad to think that the US Federal Reserve is not even owned by the US gov. , but instead is listed as a company in the yellow pages.
In any case, too late for me to ramble, the dice have been cast, as our roman ancesorts would have said " alea jacta est".
