If they really want to do it, great, but not with Joey. I myself was a HUGE Joey fan and was actually pissed when I heard he had gotten fired, but after hearing and seeing them with John after SOWN, there's no comparison. John is the shit!!! And in my opinion, if they're gonna do a bill with John and Joey, they should do it on their own terms, not because Sharon says so. The situation as it seems just isn't right, at least not in my opinion. Plus, Ozzfest has blown balls for the last few years, the only exception for me was Judas Priest last year. I hope they really think this through. I would never stop being an Anthrax fan, but I sure wouldn't look at this band in the same way again either. Now all this I say is based on what has been posted on here, I'd like to hear from the band themselves what the hell is actually going on, maybe it would make sense, maybe worse, but I wish they would say something already.

As I said in my first post here, I'm going by what I've read on here. And what I've read is that Sharon is the one who made the offer to them initially to play Ozzfest only with Joey. Maybe the Dynamo is just a warm up gig to see how it goes, who knows?? I just don't see the point in this. They tried it once, it didn't work, enough. It just seems to me, (once again from what I've read), that Ozzfest is the main reason they're doing this whole thing. If that's the case, that's lame. When they were gonna do this several years ago it seemed like it was more of a legit thing for them, now from everything I've heard this sounds like they had some coaxing into this one.
Why didn't it work...if someone in the group understands the reasons and i thought it was greed that killed more than anything. (joey)

I would hate for John to be pushed aside from Anthrax just for a shot to be on Ozzfest. I wouldn't want to see Anthrax play Ozzfest until they get rid of the nu-metal and poser metal out of the show. Last year they had Slayer and Judas Priest which I thought was cool. If they do that again this year, then I wouldn't mind Anthrax being on there, but Bush would have to be involved.

Why living in the past Mosher?? Anthrax have to look in the futur and make a new album with the curent line-up. They have made a decision in 93 for the best of the band and they live with this descision. People would laugh of them if they bring back Joey and is young girl voice!!

Because, Joey Belladonna is the best. There is no one like him. Neil Turbin was probably the best screamer, John screams awesome on the greater of two evils. But lets face it, this reunion is gonna be great. Take down the poll because its already been confirmed today that its gonna happen. all the original band members are back in. This is like Judas Priest getting back Rob Halford and Black Sabbath getting back Ozzy Osbourne. This is the same deal.
the poll is interesting becuase so far john has 27 votes and joey a mere 7. so alsmot 4 times more people go with john over joey.

So what if john got more votes. that dont mean that the band is gonna listen to you guys. the link on the post titled "according to blabbermouth" is to the site that said this was for sure confirmed.
