If ANTHRAX do this Ozzfest reunion.....

This tour will take place for 1 simple yet very important reason--money. Financially Anthrax (not just a band but also a business) has not had the same success that they had with Joey,for example

With Joey--on Elecktra Records
With John--pick an indie label they've been on

With Joey--7 gold and plat records
With John--1 gold record(tsown)

This is not to dismiss John at all, just a cold reality check. Most of you guys may bitch about Joey coming back BUT you would still go see Anthrax with Joey

I know she can but come on..Bush has been Anthrax's singer the longest. I just think it sucks that theyre doing this, that Anthrax have to do what Madam Osbourne demands and sidestep their frontman just to play Ozzfest..but least it will keep the narrowminded metal fans who think the only good Anthrax is the old Anthrax happy.

I would find this 2 singer thing possibly acceptable. If they tour with just Joey I would be pissed. I have seen Anthrax before and after the break-up with Joey. I loved em before, and I absolutely loved them after. Now, however, I would not enjoy seeing them get back together with Joey and dump john. I'd be quite pissed.

I think it's terrible, but you got to do what the boss wants or find another job. Apparently they want to do what their boss wants.
 
there were signed with elektra when joey was in the band,joey said he was sure his signature was on that contract,they fired joey before the ink dried lol,nice guys hey!

Anthrax was signed to Elektra while Joey was in the band, the ink may not have been even dry when he was let go but at the time he was the singer.

Die hards hate Joey because Joey fucked us over in 1998. He's an asshole.

We think they made the right choice in 1993, and their music got better because of it.
We love the old shit, but it's even better with John singing, hands down.
and whether they signed to Elektra while Joey was the singer or not, that wasn't my point. My point was, they didn't release anything with Joey on vocals on Elektra.

That made it sound like joey was the reason for anthrax's success, and that simply isn't true. Joey was a vocalist only who contributed hardly anything [if anything at all] to the actual songwritting. Lets not forget that ALL thrash bands have had a decline in record sales since 1993 or so. Megadeth, slayer and even metallica. Saying anthrax is offered ozzfest only with joey because of their succes with him is just as daft as saying megadeth wouldn't be welcomed on ozzfest without ellefson, freidman, and menza.
 
Die hards hate Joey because Joey's voice is shitty. Is the baddest singer on earth. John was a 10000 time better singer, a better person and a nicest guy. John is in the band since 13 years and the band was better than ever. Bring back Frank and fuck Joey.
 
what do u like best about him- the tight pants or the off-key voice? or the fact that he wrote none of the lyrics or music?
